We are hosting a new venture for FFNL…

… a Student Stage!

This year, Waukesha’s Freeman Friday Night Live (FFNL) has grown to 9 stages (up from 6 last year!). The Christian stage was moved from the stage by our store to ReBorn Wellness.  We are hosting a new venture for FFNL….a Student Stage. It was the idea of the Mayor and a collaboration between Roger and the Downtown Business Association, Mayor Jeff Scrima, the Waukesha School District, Carroll University, and Catholic Memorial High School. Now after a month of improvising together, we’re excited and proud to announce the Freeman Friday Night Live NEW Student Stage, with the following line up:

June 7: (6-8 pm) Waukesha West Jazz Program  – 25 voice vocal jazz choir and 20 piece big band; 30’s to modern

June 14: Diane Skrobis – Children’s Choir of Waukesha – traditional choral rep. with piano and auxiliary instruments

June 21: Derek Sallmann – singer/songwriter solo guitar singer – West Senior

June 28:  Nicole Garity Trio – Carroll University Jazz Trio

July 5: Jacob Warne – Carroll University singer song writer

July 12: Derek Sallmann – singer/songwriter solo guitar singer – West Senior

July 19: Ian and the Dream – Recent West graduate with his popular local band

July 26: South HS Orchestra program – Full and chamber strings; Classics to pop

August 2: Alec Aldred Quartet

August 9: Jacob Warne – Carroll University singer song writer

August 16: Nicole Garity Trio –  Carroll Jazz Trio

August 23: Ian and the Dream – Recent West graduate with his popular local band

August 30: Reckless Abandon

Sept. 6: Paper Lake  – West Seniors and their folk rock band

Sept. 13: Catholic Memorial High School Jazz Ensemble  – big band sound

Sept. 20: Reckless Abandon

Sept. 27: TBA

So come on down to the opening night this Friday, June 7th. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and get comfortable on the lawn next to our shop.  This NEW Student Stage can and will develop students, bring people together, and make our community smile!
